Money: continuation

I was in the Hall of Justice 30mins before 9am. I did not go directly to the Public Attorney's Office instead I went to my dad's sala. I know Ms. Sweetie and Ariel was not yet within the premise. I texted Ariel asking for his whereabout just to make sure if my intuition worked and he replied he said he was on his way. I told him I'll stay at my dad's office and just text me if he's within the premise together with Ms. Sweetie and he acknowledge my text message.

Ms. Sweetie arrived very late. Our advisor was attending hearing so Ariel decided to bring Ms. Sweetie at my dad's office to meet me. I called up the PAO, I asked miss. jenny a(the secretary)a favor to please call me after our advisor's hearing. While waiting for jenny's call, I asked Ms. Sweetie bout the sheriff. How come she met the sheriff and why did the sheriff ask her the amount of P15T. Ms. Sweetie said she met the sheriff during the time she kept on visiting the NLRC (national labor relation commission) office, very desperate and felt abandoned. She asked the sheriff to help her. Here comes the sheriff took advantage of her weakness, convince her that he can get the money at no time if she will give her P15T. As I expected she agreed.

That time she did not know that we already knew about her check to be released later. Its just that we decided not to inform her unless the check is ready. We made a mistake in good faith. Maybe if we told her bout the check the attempt of extortion will not happened. The reason we did not inform her because Ms. Sweetie like I said before is sooo makulit. She will not listen to people who can really help her instead she is more interested to listen the opinion of other people. She is the type of girl na madaling maloko.

Our conversation was interrupted when miss jeni called and so we went down and go straight at PAO's office. Our lawyer advisor asked for the relief we made, we need his signature (of course he has a license). Again our advisor advice Ms. Sweetie not to give any amount of money to the sheriff. We gave him our Motion for ex-parte urgent to release the check. He signed the motion then we left then back at NLRC office.

When we reach the NLRC, I asked Ms. Sweetie bout the sheriff. She said he is not in there. We file our motion. We thought we can get the check within that day but the in-charge told us we need to have the order for release but the officer (the arbitrator) is not in his office. At last, it is done. Ariel and I smiled at each other. We asked if do we need to comply additional requirements the in-charge said no ok na to all we need is to wait for the order of release.

I told Ms. Sweetie that she can claim her check next week alone without us (ariel and I). Shes afraid to go back alone. She asked that we will accompany her. She was afraid to face the sheriff. We were wondering the absence of the sheriff. Maybe he smells our presence and he we knew his evil plan.

Hahay I told Ariel. Why some officials need "padulas" before helping those in need. The irreparable loss of a person are usually taken advantage by some officials. Not only government officials even private individuals. I know we need money. We need other "diskarte" for extra income for our family but I think we can do it in good faith. Kunbaga "sariling sikap at tyaga lang ".

money the root of evil

While watching tv my classmate Ariel called. He brought good news referring to the case we handled as part of the law school internship program. Me and Ariel were partners in handling the case of Ms. Sweetie ( not her real name) for the case of Unfair Labor Practice. Not so much work to do because the status of the case was pending on appeal. All we have to do was to wait for the National Labor Relation Commission's (NLRC) order whether to file an answer or the final decision of the case.

Our client Ms. Sweetie is very makulit, annoying, fragile and makulit (I cannot think of an english word to suit her being makulit). Then we received an order from the NLRC. We are given ten days to make an answer so we did. AFter that we waited for the decision. Finally, here comes the decision from the NLRC. For the reason of social justice, we made an appointment to the lawyer of the company to discuss the award. The lawyer was sooo surprised and very upset because he thought he will be meeting a true lawyer and not students. We did well and we were so proud although there is an ocean of difference between a bar passer and not a bar passer.

Now back to the phone call, Ariel told me that the decision is favorable to Ms. Sweetie. The company awarded a check worth P95T (although not enough but it will do) mailed in the office of the NLRC. Ms. Sweetie really want to get the money immediately but she cannot for we have to file a motion for the release of the check in favor of Ms. Sweetie. I said to Ariel thank God tapos na but he said wait I have something to tell you. I asked him bout what? Ms. Sweetie told Ariel bout the sheriff asking Ms. Sweetie to pay him P15T. Oh My God!! I asked back Ariel did Ms. Sweetie said yes? He answered not yet. She asked my opinion. Then what had you told her? I told her not to give any money thats their job and he did nothing. I asked Ariel again. Did you ask Atty. Alonzo bout the sheriff? (atty alonzo is our adviser) He said yes! He told me not to give any money, just give the sheriff money enough to buy for snacks. Atty. Alonzo added that if the sheriff will not pursue and will ask for the money informed me and we will file a case against the sheriff. (whew) I gave instruction to Ariel to text Ms. Sweetie to be careful and not to give any money to the asshole sheriff. And she should meet us tomorrow and not the sheriff. I want to know the name of the sheriff and see in person his nasty face. We decided to meet tomorrow at 9am, at the hall of justice with Ms. Sweetie and Atty. Alonzo.

Imagine! P15T Wow!! As in Wow!!! I wonder how could the sheriff ask for the big amount of money. Talo pa lawyers! I think its been a long practice for he is not afraid to ask for that amount. Our client is not well compensated but it is better than nothing and here comes the sheriff did nothing to her, just telling her bout the check. For just informing Ms. Sweetie about the check the sheriff will ask P15T for the service. My God he should not live long. Well let's see tomorrow I hope and pray tomorrow will be a good day.

Resignation letter

My brother requested me to write a resignation letter for him. I told him to make your own. Anyways, your boss knew the reason naman. He said no! kaw na I have no heart to make one. I explain my side, the reasons why I cannot do it in relation to his profession as a doctor. Well Im not a doctor. Pero he won. Imagine it took me three days para magawa to. Herein below is the resignation letter I made for my brother.

After weighing all the options available for me, I have come to a decision that I should pursue my dream of becoming a surgeon. It has always been my dream before when I entered the medical profession that someday I will be specializing in surgery. That entering and specializing in surgery, for me, is a new challenge an exciting one and is abound of opportunities that would help carve my profession and as well as develop and promote my character as a person. I believe the right time has come.

I would always cherish my experience and I am very grateful that I was given the chance to showcase and share my skills in your municipality. My work experience in your municipality would help me propel to greater heights and hopefully attain my goals. For that, I’m deeply thankful.

In this regard, I am tendering my resignation effective January 15, 2005. I will always pray for the success of your administration.

After reading HIs resignation letter, my brother smiled. He said "FEELING DOCTOR". Nevertheless, he appreciated my work.

Its nice to hear my chat friends end up together. Pau informed me of jen's pregnancy (his girlfriend) and I was so happy to hear the good news. Imagine guy pa nagsabi and not the girl. Usually kasi we girls naman be the first one to disseminate the good news, the guy will just confirm lang IF you will ask them.

While we were chatting, I am imagining his reactions, his gestures, hes being proud to become a father and to his gf. Read below. You can really tell his sublime happiness. Take note sa main channel nya ni reveal to! Sana ganun lahat mga lalake. ehem
